The US Soccer Development Academy was unveiled on June 4th, 2007 as a new program with the focus being on player development. Academies will provide players with the best possible opportunity to achieve their utmost potential as elite soccer players.
Odyssey is one of 78 Clubs across the country to be chosen and one of only five clubs in Northern California.
After accepting the invitation into the US Soccer Development Academy in 2007 it was agreed steps needed to be taken to assist with funding this selective recognition and consequent participation. In light of this, the first Academy Cup Tournament was born and after requested feedback the consensus proved to be one of great success to all that attended.

Due to this Cal Odyssey will host its 4th annual Academy Cup on September 24 & 25, 2011 open to boys AND girls from age U9 through U19, we welcome your application and appreciate your support! The Academy Cup is not limited to Academy teams and welcomes all competitive team applications!
Guest Players are allowed as defined by US Club Soccer and USYSA team rules.
